Child Injured in Zumbrota Crash
Zumbrota, MN (KROC-AM News) - The State Patrol says an 8-year-old boy suffered serious injuries in a traffic crash that occurred Thursday morning at the Highway 60 interchange on Highway 52 in Zumbrota.
Trace Olson was a passenger in a car driven by 31-year-old Darren Olson of Zumbrota. He was headed east on Highway 60 when his car collided with a semi-truck that was taking the northbound Highway 52 exit to west Highway 60 just before 8 AM.
The Mayo One helicopter responded to the crash site and the boy was transported to St. Mary’s Hospital, but information about his condition is not available. The two drivers and a second passenger in the Olson vehicle were not hurt.
