Closings & Delays

Dangerously cold wind chills of -20 to -35 are expected Thursday night through Friday morning. Here are the Rochester area winter closings and delays for January 25, 2019.

Snow accumulations of 4 to 6 inches expected across SE Minnesota from midnight Monday to midnight Tuesday with light freezing drizzle possible. Plan on hazardous and slippery road conditions during morning commutes.

Southeast Minnesota is currently under a Winter Weather Advisory.

Freezing drizzle on Monday night is expected to cause slippery, icy roads for Tuesday morning. A few schools are closing or delaying Tuesday opens.

The National Weather Service has issued a Winter Storm Warning for our area until noon on Sunday, December 2nd. With bad weather comes plenty of closings.

With a winter storm in the forecast for Saturday, March 14, there are cancellations and closures for the area.

We've got a winter storm warning in effect for Olmsted County. Between Tuesday and Wednesday, we could get over 6 inches of snow. MN Dot has issued a travel advisory for Dodge, Fillmore, Freeborn, Goodhue, Houston, Mower, Olmsted; plus Rice, Steele, Wabasha, and Winona counties of SE Minnesota. Please drive carefully. Significant snowfall means one thing, closings!
