Cannon Falls Light Being Removed

MNDOT began removing the traffic light on Highway 52 in Cannon Falls this morning - the only one

left on the highway between Rochester and the Twin Cities.

It has been scheduled to be removed last week but the work was delayed due to the weather and other reasons.  MNDOT hopes the light can be completely removed today.

The removal of that light and one on the southern end of Cannon Falls became possible when a new interchange project was constructed.
