Byron, MN (KROC-AM News) - A Byron woman was killed in a two-vehicle crash this afternoon just west of Rochester. The State Patrol says three other people, including two small children, suffered non-life threatening injuries in the crash, which was reported around 2:40 pm.

The State Patrol says the victim, identified as 62-year-old Stephanie Joy Fernholz, was driving south on County Road 3 when her car collided another car that was traveling west on Highway 14.

The other driver was identified as 28-year-old Hilary Marie Deluna of West Concord. She and her two passengers, 2-year-old Caleb and 3-year-old Carter Deluna, were transported to St. Marys Hospital.

The State Patrol says all four people involved in the crash were wearing seatbelts and the airbags in both vehicles were activated.
