Rochester, MN (KROC-AM News) - A Byron teenager told Rochester Police he was threatened by a man with a gun early Saturday.

The 17-year-old boy told officers he was leaving a residence in the Circle Court Southwest area around 3:30 a.m. when he stopped his vehicle for the stop sign at the corner of Circle Court and Willow Ridge Drive. That’s when he says he was approached by a man and a woman, and the man pulled out a gun, pointed it at his head, and threatened to kill him if he called the police.

The teenager indicated he did not know why he was threatened, but he speculated it might have been because one of his friends earlier squealed the tires on his car while leaving the same residence.

The man with the gun was described as white, in his 20s, with short black hair. The woman who accompanied him was also white and appeared to be in her 20s with red hair.
