Rochester, MN (KROC AM News) - A felony charge was filed Friday in Olmsted County Court against the brother of Jamar Clark.

32-year-old Jamine Robinson was arrested by Rochester Police Thursday morning after officers responded to a “domestic call” from an employee of a convenience store, who reported a man chasing a woman inside the business. The criminal complaint, which involves a DANCO, or Domestic Abuse No Contact Order, violation says Robinson was gone by the time officers arrived at the Holiday store near the Government Center. She would not identify the man seen chasing her, but told the officers she and her husband had got into an argument and he had been chasing her. A video from a store security camera shows Robinson and his wife entering the business and getting into a verbal altercation that escalated.

The charges say the officers then discovered Robinson had been ordered to have no contact with his wife and went to arrest him at her nearby home. He refused their orders to come out, but was apprehended several hours later when he left the residence while an officer was watching for him.

The initial incident occurred only a few hours after the Hennepin County Attorney announced the Minneapolis Police Officers involved in the shooting death of his brother last November would not face any charges.
