WASHINGTON (AP) — Seimone Augustus scored 21 points to help the Minnesota Lynx tie their own WNBA record for best start in league history with an 83-76 win over the Washington Mystics on Saturday.

Minnesota (10-0) matched the 2012 which also won its first 10 games to set the league record.

Augustus, who missed the last game after suffering a bruise to her head on Tuesday, was 10 of 18 from the field and the Lynx, tops in the AP WNBA power poll, shot 49 percent. Sylvia Fowles scored 18 points and Maya Moore added 15 points with seven rebounds and five assists. The Lynx were missing Lindsay Whalen, who went home to Minnesota for her brother's wedding.

The Mystics (4-7), eighth in the poll, were led by Emma Meesseman with 19 points and seven rebounds. Ivory Latta had 13 points and Tayler Hill added 12.
