Rochester, MN (KROC AM News) - Dozens of real estate developers, commercial brokers, investors and others are expected to attend a DMC-related event in Rochester Thursday.

Those attending the event will hear about the city’s current real estate market and the expected impact from the DMC initiative.

The event will provide a rundown on the DMC initiative and walking tours of the downtown districts. Organizers say it will also spotlight individuals, businesses, and industries who have been impacted by the initiative.

“The landscape of real estate and development in Rochester is changing,” says Patrick Seeb, DMC’s director of economic development and placemaking. “People from around the region are recognizing the city as a viable place to start, grow, and expand a business.”

The first ever Rochester Real Estate Development and Investment Summit will be held at the Mayo Civic Center with a start time of 11 a.m. Attendees have also been invited to attend a reception at 4 p.m. and stay around for the Mayo Civic Center ribbon cutting ceremony at 5:30 p.m.
