Authorities Investigating Shooting in La Crescent
La Crescent, MN (KROC AM News) - A man was shot in La Crescent Monday night.
The Houston County Sheriff’s office says the victim called 911 around 9:30 to report he had just been shot in the abdomen/chest area.
Officers arrived at the residence the man called from and found the victim outside. As he was being treated, another man exited the residence and said he was the shooter. He was arrested.
The two men know each other but there is no word yet on what led up to the shooting. The victim was undergoing surgery at last report and his medical condition was not available.
The shooting remains under investigation.
