St James, MN (KROC AM News) - The Minnesota State Patrol has released the name of the elderly St. James man who died Thursday after he was run over by a dump truck.

Officials say 98-year-old David Dick was walking in the parking lot at the Mayo Clinic Hospital in St. James and was passing in front of a dump truck when it began moving forward after the driver had dumped a load of asphalt.

The deadly incident occurred about 1:30 in the afternoon.

The driver of the dump truck, 49-year-old Scott Lewis of Good Thunder, was not injured.
