EDEN PRAIRIE, Minn. (AP) — Police say a person of interest has been taken into custody in the investigation of the deaths of a man and woman whose bodies were discovered in a Eden Prairie residence.

Authorities say officers were called to the home about 7:30 a.m. Thursday for welfare check after the man failed to show up for work. The victims have not been identified.

Investigators identified a 38-year-old man as a person of interest associated with the residence due to several 911 calls over the past decade. Police are not looking for any other suspects in the case.

The Hennepin County crime lab is assisting with the investigation.
