Arrest Made in Rochester Shooting

At last check, Rochester police were still looking for the man who fired a gun during an altercation

Wednesday evening on a residential street near the north Perkins restaurant.

Police say several teens and young adults were in a physical confrontation when the shot was fired and a 20 year old man was hit in the chin. Investigators were able to interview the victim yesterday and a spokesman says he is expected to make a full recovery.

Two men suspected of being with the gunman were brought in for questioning yesterday. One was later released but the other remains in custody and is expected to face charges. Attempted murder and aggravated robbery charges are being considered against 20 year old Elijah Golden.

Police say the altercation was drug-related.
