UNDATED (AP) — The Toronto Raptors' NBA first-round series with Indiana has become a best-of-three proposition following the Pacers' dominant performance on Saturday.

George Hill and Ian Mahinmi each scored 22 points as the Pacers hammered the Raptors 100-83 in Game 4 at Indianapolis. Mahinmi also had 10 rebounds and five assists for the Pacers, who used a 14-4 run to take a 25-point lead with 3:26 left in the half.

The Raptors went 7 ½ minutes without a basket in the first half and never got closer than 11 points the rest of the way.

Jonas Valanciunas (YOH'-nuhs val-ehn-CHOO'-nuhs) had 16 points for Toronto, which hosts Game 5 on Tuesday.

Charlotte won a playoff game for the first time in 14 years as Jeremy Lin scored 18 points and Kemba Walker added 17 in the Hornets' 96-80 win over Miami. The game was tied at 53 until rookie Frank Kaminsky scored eight of his 15 points during an 18-0 run in the third quarter.

Marvin Williams had 12 points and 14 rebounds for the Hornets, who had dropped 12 straight playoff games before getting within 2-1 in the series.

Game 4 is Monday in Charlotte.

Enes Kanter was the catalyst as Oklahoma City took a 3-1 lead in the Western Conference quarterfinals. Kanter came off the bench to hit 12 of his 13 shots and score a game-high 28 points in the Thunder's 119-108 win at Dallas. Kanter also grabbed five rebounds in 25 minutes to help Oklahoma City sweep the two games in Dallas.

Russell Westbrook finished with 25 points and 15 assists for the Thunder, while Kevin Durant contributed 19 points.

Dirk Nowitzki had 27 points for the Mavericks, who will try to stave off elimination when they play Game 5 Monday at Oklahoma City.

Portland has bounced back from consecutive losses in Los Angeles by beating the Clippers 96-88 in Game 3 of their Western Conference quarterfinal series. The Trail Blazers trailed by four with just under four minutes left before Damian Lillard scored the next five points on a 3-pointer and a jumper to ignite a 15-1 run. Lillard provided nine points during the spurt and finished with a game-high 32 points.

C.J. McCollum had 27 points and Mason Plumlee delivered 21 rebounds and nine assists for the Trail Blazers.

Chris Paul had a team-best 26 points for the Clippers, who will play Game 4 on Monday in Portland.

Boston's Smart fined

NEW YORK (AP) — The NBA has fined Boston Celtics guard Marcus Smart $5,000 for violating its anti-flopping rules during Game 3 of their first-round playoff series against the Atlanta Hawks.

Smart was going for an offensive rebound and made contact with Hawks guard Kyle Korver before hitting the court.

Penguins eliminate the Rangers

UNDATED (AP) — The Pittsburgh Penguins blew a three-games-to-one lead against the New York Rangers in the Stanley Cup playoffs two years ago. The Pens made sure there wasn't a repeat of that collapse by chasing Henrik Lundqvist for the second straight game and delivering a 6-3 pounding of the Rangers. Saturday's rout allowed the Penguins to become the third team to advance to the second round, joining Tampa Bay and San Jose.

The game was tied 2-2 until rookie Bryan Rust scored twice and had an assist in Pittsburgh's four-goal second period. Matt Cullen added a goal and an assist while the Penguins built a 6-2 lead that prompted Rangers coach Alain Vigneault (VEEN'-yoh) to pull Lundqvist after two periods.

Phil Kessel (KEHS'-ul) and former Ranger Carl Hagelin (HAG'-uh-lihn) had first-period goals for the Penguins, who won the last three games of the series.

Matt Murray handled 38 shots and finished the series 3-0 with a 1.33 goals-against average.

Pittsburgh will take on either Philadelphia or Washington in Round 2.

Chicago and St. Louis will go to a seventh game following the Blackhawks' second consecutive win. The Hawks trailed 3-1 before scoring three unanswered goals in the second period of a 6-3 win over the Blues. Dale Weise (wees) snapped a 3-3 tie 16:48 into the second period before Andrew Shaw and Marian Hossa (HOH'-sah) tallied 47 seconds apart late in the game. Hossa and Andrew Ladd each finished with a goal and an assist for the defending Stanley Cup champs.

Game 7 is Monday in St. Louis.

Anaheim is up 3-2 in its first-round series following the Ducks' third straight win.

Ryan Garbutt scored the go-ahead goal late in the second period before the Ducks added three in the third to beat Nashville 5-2. David Perron (peh-RAHN') and Sami Vatanen (SAM'-ee VAH'-tah-nehn) each had a goal and an assist for Anaheim, which became the first team to win a home game in the series.

Frederik Andersen stopped 27 shots for the Ducks.

Game 6 is Monday in Nashville.

Nats keep it going

UNDATED (AP) — The Washington Nationals currently own the major league's best record at 13-4 following a spectacular performance by their No. 4 starter.

Tanner Roark (ROH'-ahrk) set a career high with 15 strikeouts while scattering two hits in seven innings of the Nats' 2-0 shutout of Minnesota. Roark had just nine strikeouts over his previous 17 innings this season, and had surrendered four earned runs and seven hits over six innings in his previous start.

Neither team scored after Ryan Zimmerman slapped a two-run single in the bottom of the first.

The Cubs began the day with baseball's top record before Eugenio Suarez went 3-for-4 with four RBIs and three runs scored in Cincinnati's 13-5 laugher against Chicago. The Cubbies led 3-2 until Suarez and Adam Duvall cracked three-run homers in the Reds' seven-run sixth. Scott Schebler and Joey Votto (VAH'-toh) also went deep for the Reds.

Elsewhere in the majors:

— The Mets won for the seventh time in nine games since a 2-5 start as Neil Walker and Asdrubal (as-DROO'-bul) Cabrera hit solo shots in an 8-2 victory in Atlanta. Cabrera and David Wright drove in two runs apiece to back Steven Matz, who surrendered nine hits but just two runs while striking out eight in 6 1/3 innings.

— Arizona was a 7-1 winner over Pittsburgh behind Rubby De La Rosa, who limited the Pirates to a run and three hits in six-plus innings. Chris Hermann belted a three-run homer and an RBI double, while David Peralta (peh-RAHL'-tah) added a solo blast.

— Mikael (MY'-kehl) Franco's three-run homer and four RBIs were part of Philadelphia's 13-hit attack in a 10-6 win at Milwaukee. Odubel (oh-DOO'-bul) Herrera was productive from the leadoff spot, going 3-for-4 with two RBIs and four runs scored.

— Jeremy Hazelbaker provided the big blow in the Cardinals' 11-2 romp at San Diego, a tiebreaking, three-run homer in the seventh inning. Jedd Gyorko crushed a three-run homer against his former team, and Stephen Piscotty hit a solo shot for St. Louis.

— A.J. Ellis hit a two-run homer and rookie Kenta Maeda (mah-AY'-dah) continued his outstanding pitching by working 6 1/3 shutout innings to lead the Dodgers past the Rockies 4-1 in Colorado. Maeda struck out eight and had a no-hitter until the sixth inning.

— Jake Peavy lined a two-run single and gave up a couple of runs and seven hits in seven innings of the Giants' 7-2 win over Miami. Matt Duffy had three hits for the Giants, who reached Jose Fernandez for four runs in six innings.

— The New York Yankees won for just the third time in 11 games by downing Tampa Bay 3-2 on Brett Gardner's two-out homer in the bottom of the ninth. Gardner also tied the game with an RBI single in the seventh.

— Mike Trout clubbed a two-run homer and Cliff Pennington hit a solo blast, both off Felix Hernandez in the Angels' 4-2 victory against Seattle. Hector Santiago had seven strikeouts and held the Mariners to two runs and four hits in six innings.

— The Athletics had won six straight before Troy Tulowitzki (too-loh-WIHT'-skee) hit a pair of solo home runs and Josh Donaldson added a three-run blast in Toronto's 9-3 pounding of Oakland. Donaldson had three hits and four RBIs to back J.A. Happ, who is 3-0 after holding the A's to three runs over seven innings.

— Baltimore hammered Kansas City 8-3 as Chris Davis went 4-for-5 with a solo homer, two RBIs and three runs scored. Mark Trumbo had three hits and four RBIs to help the Orioles improve to an American League-best 11-5.

— Yan Gomes (yahn gohmz) launched a three-run homer and had five RBIs as Cleveland blasted Detroit 10-1. Winning pitcher Corey Kluber had been 0-3 with a 6.16 ERA this season before limiting the Tigers to a run and two hits with 10 strikeouts in eight innings.

— The White Sox pulled out a 4-3 win over Texas on Jose Abreu's (ah-BRAY'-ooz) RBI single in the bottom of the 11th. Melky Cabrera and Todd Frazier smacked solo homers to help Chicago improve to 12-6.

— Houston had dropped four straight before Colby Rasmus snapped a 1-1 tie with a grand slam in the fifth inning of the Astros' 8-3 rout of Boston. Rasmus collected five RBIs and Mike Fiers (FY'-urz) gave up two runs and five hits in 5 1/3 innings.

UNDATED (AP) — The Baltimore Orioles now have a huge hole in their starting rotation. Yovani Gallardo (yoh-VAH'-nee gy-AHR'-doh) has been placed on the 15-day disabled list due to tendinitis in his pitching shoulder. Gallardo complained of a sore shoulder in his start Friday against the Royals and was pulled after two innings and 45 pitches.

Gallardo is 1-1 with a hefty 7.00 ERA in four starts this season, allowing 30 base-runners in just 18 innings. The 30-year-old is guaranteed $22 million over two years, including a $2 million buyout for 2018.

Tight fight in the Alamo City

SAN ANTONIO (AP) — Ricky Barnes has the lead after three rounds of the PGA's Texas Open.

Barnes fired a 5-under 67 that leaves him 11-under through 54 holes, one shot ahead of second-round Brendan Steele.

Luke Donald and Charley Hoffman are within two shots of Barnes.

LPGA-SWINGING SKIRTS CLASSIC

Nomura retains 3-up lead

DALY CITY, Calif. (AP) — Haru Nomura shot a 1-under 71 to maintain a three-stroke lead in the Swinging Skirts LPGA Classic.

The 23-year-old Japanese player had three birdies and two bogeys to reach 10-under 206 with one round left. South Africa's Lee-Anne Pace and South Korea's Na Yeon Choi are tied for second.

CHAMPIONS TOUR-LEGENDS OF GOLF

RIDGEDALE, Mo. (AP) — The team of Woody Austin and Michael Allen shot a 12-under 59 in better-ball play to take the second-round lead in the Champions Tour's Bass Pro Shops Legends of Golf.

David Frost and Roger Chapman fired a 61 to get to 16-under, one stroke behind Austin and Allen. Defending champions Billy Andrade (AN'-drayd) and Joe Durant also share second with Kenny Perry and Scott Hoch (hohk).
