Another Home Invasion at Rochester Apartment Complex
Rochester, MN (KROC AM News) - Several men burst into a Rochester apartment early Wednesday and one of the occupants was assaulted and had his cellphone taken from him.
The incident happened around 12:30 a.m. at The Quarters complex near RCTC.
The three male victims described the intruders as Hispanic and have no idea why they were targeted.
The victim who was assaulted is a student at RCTC. He ran to the bathroom to get away from the intruders but one of them kicked open the door and assaulted him.
A police spokesman says at the time, two private security guards were in a vehicle in the building’s parking lot but say they never heard or saw anything.
A similar incident happened at the same complex a month ago. Several young men were eventually identified and charged in that case.
