Rochester, MN (KROC AM News) -  For the second time in four days, a motorcyclist was killed while trying to get away from police in the Twin Cities metro.

The latest happened Saturday afternoon.

An Edina police officer spotted the motorcycle driving at a high rate of speed. The officer gave chase but ended the pursuit when the motorcyclist continued on I-494. The motorcyclist lost control while trying to exit the freeway and crashed. He was identified as 50-year-old Christopher Sundholm of Crystal. The earlier deadly chase happened in Bloomington last Wednesday.

There was also a fatal motorcycle/car wreck in West St Paul Monday.

Since last week, at least seven motorcyclists have been killed in Minnesota, including a Rochester man
