Undated  (KROC AM News) -  There were at least two fatal traffic wrecks in Minnesota over the weekend.

The first one was reported around 2:30 a.m. Saturday in Pipestone County.

The State Patrol says a pickup truck driven by 21-year-old Zachary Boucher of Brookings, SD crossed the centerline of Highway 23 near Pipestone and collided head-on with a passenger vehicle. It was driven by 24-year-old Jordan Egge of Sioux Falls, who was killed. A passenger in Egge’s car was seriously injured, as was Boucher. The Patrol says alcohol was detected in Boucher’s system.

The other fatal wreck happened around noon Saturday in the town of Randall.

The Patrol says 64-year-old Richard Larson of Litchfield was driving a pickup truck on Highway 10 when the vehicle left the road, hit some trees  and came to a stop in the backyard of a house.
