Alatus Project Goes to Rochester City Council for Final Vote
Rochester, MN (KROC AM News) - The Rochester Planning & Zoning Commission has approved the proposed Alatus project.
The commission’s decision Wednesday night sends the project to the City Council for its final consideration.
The project calls for a 13 story building with 347 residential units, a 560 space parking facility and commercial space. The property is located along 2nd Street SW between 14th and 15th Avenues, west of St Marys Hospital.
The DMCC Board in October agreed to consider expanding its development zone in the St. Marys Hospital area to accommodate the proposed project. The board was told about a third of the project would be located outside the current boundary of the development zone.
