Rochester, MN (KROC AM News) - A Rochester man entered not guilty pleas Friday to 2nd degree attempted murder and first-degree assault charges connected to a near-fatal stabbing last April.

22-year-old Thane Robinson is accused of stabbing a 41-year-old man a half dozen times in the chest and back during an altercation at a residence near the North Broadway McDonald’s restaurant. The victim was near death when he was dropped off at the St. Mary’s hospital emergency room.

Robinson, who is currently scheduled to stand trial in April, remains jailed with his conditional bail set at $400,000.
