Rochester, MN (KROC-AM News) - The Rochester man accused of the city’s most recent murder made a brief appearance in Olmsted County Court this morning. 27-year-old Malcolm Woods did not enter a plea and instead, requested a hearing to review the evidence in the case, which was scheduled for December 18th. Bail for Woods was continued at $2-million.

He currently faces two counts of second-degree murder for the fatal shooting of 38-year-old Brandon Arndt at Bob’s Trailer Park on September 10th. The complaint alleges Woods was the person who actually shot Arndt after knocking on the door to his mobile home around four in the morning.

Two other people, 20-year-old Damien Klindsworth-Woods and 34-year-old Keilah Parsons, are also facing second-degree murder charges for their alleged involvement in the murder. It’s alleged the trio plotted the murder because they mistakenly believed the victim had harmed their grandmother, who lived in a mobile home neighboring Arndt’s residence.

An evidentiary hearing for Parsons has been scheduled in early November, while Klindsworth-Woods is scheduled to appear in court next week.
