MINNEAPOLIS (AP) — The Hennepin County Medical Examiner says the death of a doctor found along the interstate in Minneapolis last month was an accident.

The body of Christopher Robert was discovered on the shoulder of Interstate 94 on Dec. 5. A medical examiner's report says the 50-year-old doctor died of a blunt force head injury sustained in apparent fall. County spokeswoman Carolyn Marinan tells the Star Tribune that the autopsy also determined that alcohol was a factor.

Robert was chief of anesthesiology at Hennepin County Medical Center.

His wife, Kerry Ace, has said her husband was walking to their downtown condo after a holiday party. His body was found the next morning.
