A New Chief Bean Counter for Olmsted County
Rochester, MN (KROC AM News) - Olmsted County has named a new chief financial officer.
The county will lose longtime CFO Bob Bendzick at the end of the month. He is retiring after more than 33 years as head of the county’s finances.
Taking over the position June 1st will be Wilfredo Román Cátala. He currently works as Bendzick’s top assistant.
Catala began working for Olmsted County in 2006 as Director of Business Operations for Public Health Services. Prior to that job, he worked for Rice County and the state of Minnesota.
